
Get ready for a night of enchantment as Chandelier Productions proudly presents the reprise of its 2022 Musical Theatre production, ‘Une Petite Nuit.’ For one captivating evening on Friday 20th October, 2023 at 7:30 p.m, the Central Bank Auditorium will be transformed into a realm of romance and heartbreak, when two couples find themselves entangled in a web of emotions and revelations, amid the picturesque backdrop of Palmiste Park.
The event will also host the official launch of the Black Collar Creative Foundation, in honour of the late Janine Charles-Farray who was the author of the original script. The Black Collar Creative Foundation will be dedicated to preserving the legacy and works of Ms. Charles-Farray, and intends to support the Creative sector by assisting entrepreneurs with their start-ups or special projects.

‘Une Petite Nuit’ will feature a stellar cast of rising entertainers. Among them are returning cast members Isaiah Alexander, Gabrielle Alleyne and Noelle Archer, and newcomers Kristian Adams, Adafih Padmore, Tahfari Leslie, Shennice Williams and Carl Anthony Hines, with a guest performance by the local Contemporary band “One Vision, One Voice.” It also boasts a creative and production team that includes Director, Trevon Christopher Jugmohan, who has produced several high quality musicals locally such as The Sound of Music (2012) and Mahalia: A Gospel Musical (2015); esteemed Conductor and Composer Michael Hudlin will assume the role of the production’s Musical Director; Triston Wallace, Founder of the Trinidad and Tobago Performing Arts Network (TTPAN), as the musical’s Lead Choreographer; and Founder of Chandelier Productions, Tiana Chandler, as Producer and Stage Manager.

‘Une Petite Nuit’ promises to deliver an unforgettable experience filled with music, dance, and drama, and will feature a special selection of Broadway favourites such as “All I Ask Of You” from The Phantom of the Opera, and “10 Minutes Ago” from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. During its 2022 premiere, the production touched many hearts and garnered rave reviews from its patrons. In attendance was San Fernando’s Mayor, Junia Regrello, who stated that the production was an “excellent evening of entertainment” with quality music and singing. In a review published to the TTPAN website, entrepreneur and digital storyteller Anil Singh called ‘Une Petite Nuit’ “a refreshing, upscale change from the mainstream Trini bacchanal route that is over-trod, bringing Broadway to our shores.”
