Work-From-Home Relief Hamper – Eligibility Criteria

Are you a Creative/Cultural stakeholder with an idea for a project or currently working on one from home? You are invited to register for an opportunity to be selected for a “Work-From-Home” Relief Hamper courtesy the National Lotteries Control Board and FilmTT.

Project Aim: To assist Creative and Cultural workers in continuing to work in the arts from home.

Available: Twenty (20) Work-From Home Hampers, containing equipment and accessories to support Artists and Cultural workers in transitioning their project(s) to Digital, Virtual or Online markets.

In the Hamper:

  1. DJI OM 4 Smartphone Gimbal
  2. PoP voice Professional Lavalier Lapel Microphone Omnidirectional Condenser Mic
  3. Neewer NL660 Bi-colour LED Video Light
  4. Light stand

Key Eligibility:

  1. Applications must be submitted by one individual, aged 18 years and over. Multiple applications for one project submitted by several applicants will not be considered.
  2. You must be a Resident or Citizen of Trinidad and Tobago. (Proof of National ID, Passport or Driver’s Permit must be provided).
  3. You must be currently unemployed, part-time employed, self-employed, freelancing, or have lost income or have lost the opportunity to generate revenue from the arts and cultural activity, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the current Public Health Restrictions or the ongoing State of Emergency.
  4. You must be able to provide evidence of criteria Item #3 by way of any of the following:
     
    • You are a member of the Artist Registry under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts;
    • You are a member of the Craft Artisan Registry under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts;
    • You are a registered member with the Department of Culture in the Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation, Tobago House of Assembly;
    • You are registered on The Film Production Directory (FilmTT);
    • You are registered on Live Music District (MusicTT);
    • You are registered on the FashionTT VCIP List or TT Fashion Industry Database (Fashion TT);
    • You are registered on the membership list of an ARTS ASSOCIATION in accordance with the membership requirements of each organization. The Arts Association must meet specially defined criteria. All applicants using registration evidence from an ARTS ASSOCIATION, must have their current membership status endorsed via letter by the leading Executive of the Arts Association.

  5. If you were previously enrolled in an Arts programme at a tertiary education institution, you must have graduated after March 2020 OR are currently in your final year of an arts degree programme from a recognized and accredited institution.
