Singer Scientist presents SEEING SOUND, Live Show & Interactive Art Installation.
What if you could see sound? Or hear in colour? Singer Scientist Danielle Williams will take you on a journey of Seeing Sound – a visual & sonic experience – at the Grundlos Kollektiv #11 Cipriani Boulevard on June 9th at 7pm & June 10th at 6pm.
Come explore, create, feel and be transported through a live show with breath-taking visuals and interactive art installations. Clinical Media Group, part event sponsors, will wash the space with immersive lighting and projections. Singer-scientist Danielle Williams, singer-actor Kyle Richardson, and dancer-choreographer Zayna Marie McDonald, and, will present a captivating live show. Pop, electronica, classical, popera music and Caribbean sounds, will be fused with film, poetry, digital art, lighting and projections. Seeing Sound will feature excerpts from “Natural Attraction by Rodell Warner, designed for Art After Hours by CULTUREGO MAGAZINE, May 2018. Kats Imai will provide sound design and reinforcement.
“What’s different about this event? The music is integrated with the projections, film, light, art installations and a bit of science. The audience is allowed to participate in the creation of the art and will in fact become a part of the art itself. This will be an innovative, one-of-a-kind experience something new.”
Asha King of a Love Affinity Productions will provide additional Video edits, Seedbox Marketing TT will provide Event Management with Stage management by Nicole Wong Chong.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
Singer Scientist Danielle Williams
Singer Scientist Danielle Williams, has been delighting audiences locally and abroad with her warm, sparkling voice, a penchant for storytelling and vivid characterisations, both in staged productions and at special events. She has been featured as a soloist on all the major local concert stages: Queen Hall, Central Bank, NAPA, Little Carib Theatre, Naparima Bowl; with Marionettes Chorale, John Thomas and the cast of Believe, the Bishop Anstey Choir, and the Picoplat Development Foundation.
Her portrayal of Prince Orlofsky in the opera Die Fledermaus was described as “a superb laconic performance.” She was also featured as Cosette in The BpTT Marionettes Chorale’s production of Les Misérables. Danielle studied and performed extensively in Sweden with the Opera Studio at the Härnösands Fölkhögskola in Härnösand with Karin Bengtsdotter Olsson, Anna Hanning & Dr. Jean-Ronald LaFond. Winner of the 2016 Neil Latchman Bursary from The Patrons of Queens Hall. She is committed to advancing the fields of vocal science and pedagogy in the region and allowing the classical music world to explore Caribbean culture through our music.
Zayna Marie McDonald
Zayna Marie McDonald is a versatile and zealous Trinidadian is a performing artist with a passion and vision for the future of the arts. McDonald holds a BFA in the Performing Arts at The University of Trinidad and Tobago where she majored in Dance, securing the styles of ballet, contemporary, Indian classical, folk, latin, heels and modern under her belt. Her training includes a Musical Theatre Summer intensive with the renowned Joffrey Ballet School in New York, Acting Intensives with Raymond Choo Kong and Penelope Spencer and vocal training with June Nathaniel.
Over the years, Zayna has built up a plethora of experience on stage in professional musical, dance and acting productions such as World of Dance Trinidad and Tobago, Coco Dance Festival, Sound of Music, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Scrooge, and Mahalia: A Gospel Musical just to name a few.
One of her major accomplishments includes placing 4th in the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2017 competition where she copped the titles of Miss Personality and Miss Talent. Currently, Zayna is working on major projects to catapult her career in the arts as well as Expressive Arts Therapy.
Kyle Richardson is a singer/actor born on the island of St. Kitts, he’s been singing from the age of 7, and has been on the stage from an early in Trinidad. He is a past member of ‘The Love Movement’ where he spent 6 years training under the guidance of Bernadette Laughlin Scott, this allowed him to perform on many different stages including the LincolnCentre in New York.
He has also performed in numerous musicals around Trinidad. These include roles such as Raul in The Phantom of Opera, The Scarecrow in Proscenium’s production of The Wiz, Lionel and Whisker in The Baggasse Company’s production of Cinderella: The Trinidad and Tobago musical, Mark in JCS Entertainment’s Production of Altar Boyz and most recently Jesus of Nazareth in JCS Entertainment’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
He is the lead singer for the youngest soca band in Trinidad “The Flick” and is currently writing and producing his original music with intentions of releasing within the next year.
Rodell Warner is a Trinidadian artist whose most recent works are photographic portraits in which his digital animations are projected onto his subjects’ bodies, dramatically altering each subject’s appearance. These works have been exhibited at The Whitney Museum of American Art in the 2016 Dreamlands exhibition as part of the collective video project Ways of Something, and at The National Gallery of Jamaica in the 2016 exhibition Digital, and at Art Basel in Switzerland in 2017.
Rodell is a recipient of the 2011 Commonwealth Connections International Arts Residency and the 2014 summer residency at NLS Kingston. Most recently Rodell was commissioned by Davidoff Art Initiative to create the Limited Art Edition for 2017.
