This Christmas, three Port of Spain-based primary schools have teamed up to present their first-ever musical titled Gloria! Gloria! Christmas in Granny’s Magic House.
Calling themselves the Port of Spain Dukes, the group comprises students of St. Catherine’s Girls, Christus Rex (Richmond Street Boys) and Trinity Junior Anglican Schools, in a massive joint fundraiser production carded for December 16 and 17 at the Lord Kitchener Auditorium, National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Port of Spain.

Featuring steelpan, parang, carols, calypso and more, this musical theatre performance promises to shine light on the children’s commendable skills in the performing arts, and is guaranteed entertainment for the entire family!
Written by playwright Reena Christian, Gloria! Gloria! tells the story of a group of youngsters who embark upon a magical adventure while ‘liming’ at the home of the grandmother of one of the main characters. As the fascinating plot unfolds, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude, trust, understanding and community, all wrapped up in the magic of a real Trinidad and Tobago Christmas!
