In a February interview with the Trinidad and Tobago Performing Arts Network, NDATT Assistant Secretary – Ariana Herbert expressed excitement about the possibilities that came with transitioning to their new location. “As the managers of the entire upper floor, we’re transforming the two extra rooms into studios that can be rented for use by our members and the community at large.”

With a measurement of 15 ft x 33 ft, Studio 1 is the larger of the two facilities which can accommodate a maximum of fifty (50) persons seated. The floors are tiled and the room air conditioned. The space is also outfitted with multiple large windows so it can be well ventilated (if A/C is not preferred) and benefits from copious amounts of natural light during the day. This room is particularly suited for rehearsals, auditions, workshops, readings, meetings and mini performances.
Studio 2 measures 14 ft x 15 ft and offers a more intimate setting. The floor is also tiled and the room air conditioned and sound proofed. It is suitable for small meetings, casting sessions, small readings and can be even transformed into a photo studio for photography sessions.
To demonstrate the versatility of the space, the studio launch will take the form of a creative networking event, studio tour and also feature some live performances from within the NDATT Membership. The launch will be hosted by actor, comedian, media personality, and former NDATT President – Errol Fabien. Food and Drink will also be on sale.
NDATT Studio Launch and Creative Networking event will take place on Friday 22nd March 2019, from 7PM – 9PM, at the NDATT Headquarters, now located upstairs Tropical Express Couriers, at #97 Southern Main Road Curepe. Admission FREE
